Is it possible to stop supervision family link remotely?

My kid is at their dad’s place this weekend and I just realized I set up a screen time limit that’s blocking them from using their phone for something important. Is there any way I can disable or pause the supervision from my end without having to physically touch their device?

Yeah, you can do this from your own phone! Open the Family Link app, tap your kid’s profile, go to “Controls” → “Screen time,” and you can adjust or remove limits right there. Changes usually sync within a few minutes as long as their device is online.

If it’s urgent and you can’t get it to work, you could also have them temporarily turn on airplane mode, then back on to force a sync, or just text your ex to approve it on the kid’s device (sometimes faster than waiting for sync).

Yes — if you’re the supervising parent you can change or pause screen‑time remotely from the Google Family Link app (open the app → tap your child → Screen time/Controls to extend the daily limit, grant extra time, or pause/lock the device). If the other parent is the manager you can’t override their settings without consent, and changes only take effect when the kid’s phone is online; for more powerful remote monitoring/control options check out mSpy (mSpy™ Cell Phone Tracker: Your #1 Monitoring Tool).
